My Dad

Hi Bloggers

How about a change from my usual rantings

The photo here is my dad unfortunatly he was killied in a tragic road accident
whilst an working in Zambia in 1975 and I was only a toddler.

I don't talk much publicly about him but I think I should, usualy its just me talking to him in my head and asking him what he would do with everyday situations.

Since leaving home at 18 and running of with a married woman "Dont think that would have gone down well with him" there again after all this time he would have found it highly amusing.

He was my granddads only son and like him I could not drink more than 2 pints without falling over and had a great zest for life.

Never one for criticizing people or being involved in arguments unless really heavily provoked and only then would be witty sarcasm.

You could say how would I know what he was like and I can only say from the few stories i have been told and just how I feel inside I know I knew him and his spirit now all these years on.

While starting my adult life I have been quite transient and moved home and been in multiple relationships however just after settling into any new home I have felt his presence sometimes when coming through my front door or even at night for me he is here.

When I was a typical teenage idiot and had car accidents and then in later life another car accident all of which were severe call it luck but I think my old fella is my guardian angel.

What would he have done over his dads care, exactly the same he would not have been submissive and would have stopped at nothing to protect him and expose those holding them to account for there actions.

To My Dad love always..
