Hi Bloggers.
I have finally had a reply from the Local Government Ombudsman.
The LGO made a decision many months ago which stated that Staffordshire County Council has acted professionally in its handling of the complaint into my grandfathers care and the subsequent treatment afforded to both myself and grandfather.
Also that the County Council had carried out a full and comprehensive investigation into my complaint.
Here is my dilemma, This fully comprehensive investigation was one sided and at no time did the investigator come back to myself and put her findings to me prior to making her conclusions.
The big problem with this so called independent investigation was how many defamatory lies and inconsistencies existed in its many pages.
The Local Government Ombudsman upheld this as a through investigation.
So my main reason for writing today is that the LGO make public the complaints made by members of the public.
I have taken great offense at a published remark which I feel is inaccurate and requested it to be removed.
The LGO response is "No they will not".
So "I was unhappy at the councils decision to undertake a vulnerable adult investigation"
Very wrong, the problem was they never carried a professional vulnerable adult investigation out in the first place this gives me the full beleife that Staffordshire Social Services are not fit for purpose and are intent on the protection of those who fail to undertake the job for which they are employed.
People must be held to account, We need to be able to trust.
I ask myself who is the LGO there to protect because it is not the public or public confidence.
