The Change a Sincere Apology can make

Hi Bloggers

It has been some time since I updated you all on how matters are progressing and my thoughts.

I am finally with my doctors help trying to see if lowering my prescription medications that my GP wanted me to take after the false allegations, lies and threatening attitudes including failure of support by staffordshire county council staff.

For those who have not been following the Blog the distress caused directly by the county council caused me to feel like I personally had failed my own grandad, let him down and at the point of little to no support and at a complete loss I wanted to end my own life.

I want to live a life without antidepressants and finally move on with a more knowledgeable outlook in life.

Further to this to get off these meds is my way of proving that Staffordshire CC has not permanently destroyed my quality of life.

My life over these many years has not been so good and the passing of grandad was heartbreaking.

The system failed both him and me in far to many ways.

I have had to fight continually to hold people to account and to disprove all the disgusting lies and comments made by social workers and others

A major turning point for me was a full apology from the CEO of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership trust.

After some time the local NHS Trust finally came good and looked at all the evidence presented to them and the conclusion was that the information fully ignored by the county council was very valid.

I can assure you the reader that when the apology was made by the trust and its CEO, Stuart Poynor it was genuine and heartfelt and without any caveat or lacking in genuine regret.

It was like a massive weight had been lifted, for once it felt as if someone was genuinely interested in change for the better.

It is true that the trust had tried to ignore the complaint for some time and that they had failed my grandad in his care needs however we all need to move on and turn our distrust into gaining change.

Now they had regained my respect you should always have a forward facing attitude to life, the trust have some way to go still but I am sure that as long as this genuine CEO is in place things will only get better.

There is a lot of work still to do including transparency in disciplinary of serous failure of conduct when at the level of gross misconduct.

Slapped wrists for compulsive lies will simply not do.

When it comes to the County Council the ignorance has been outstanding both towards any accountability for missing monies belonging to my grandfather at the home and further to this the Police do not appear to be remotely interested.

The Police and Crime Commissioner has advised that he will wait until the outcome of the LGO Findings.

The LGO are not looking into the financial aspects of my late grandads care so I can only assume that this will just have to go under the carpet.

Are you still reading ? as I can go on a bit lol.

At present I am awaiting some serious results in regard to the case, firstly the LGO sent a request to the County Council with many questions on it.

The County Council then tried to have the questions watered down and tried to have specific issues removed from the LGO remit.

Class act solicitors at the CC lol.

As the norm the county council provided the answers to the LGO many weeks after the deadline set by the LGO

The usual incompetent delay tactics.

I am awaiting with baited breath to see the response to the questions set by the LGO and assume that staffordshire county council will write the answers in a derogatory manner towards myself.

Lots of things are still taking place and hopefully this will all end soon.

Will I ever even receive an apology from Staffordshire county council,   it is highly unlikely.

Have a great weekend folks

Steve
