Alison Joy and Gut Feelings Staffordshire

Hi Folks

I am still awaiting and experiencing the usual delays in accountability and transparancy.

It has taken some time to unravel the lies and disinformation from various Adult care services and organizations.

The value in finally having visibility of my late grandfathers Social care file has allowed the family to follow up how,why and what happened over the final few years of his life.

For the purpose of public safety we have no other option but to put on record the conduct of this individual and further others as it becomes apparent that no action is or has been taken by the employer or the employer feels the individual has caused no harm.

Mrs Alison Joy

Employer at time of incident Douglas Macmillan Cancer Care. Staffordshire

Mrs Joy in her employment after a clash of personality raised a vulnerable adult refferal based on the following.

Psychological/emotional issues as both stephen and george try to talk over grandad.

Family claim his confusion is worse than it it.

Stated that carers were in bed when A night sitter left the property in morning.

Mrs Joys remarks apparently were based on Gut Feelings and at no time were based on fact or evidence.

The family requested an investigation to be carried out by the management at Macmillan who to date insist that her actions were acceptable.

Macmillan further advised that there were no issues ever raised by hospice at home regarding any possible abuse or neglect however Mrs Joys gut feelings still remain on county council and social care files.

The concerns the family hold is that overzealous documentation , Blatent Lies and gut feelings should not at any time be the content of Adult Social Care records no matter who the organisation is.

It serves little to no protection for ficticious vexatious information to be recorded about the elderly or any vulnerable person or family member/carer.

The sad reality to this is that an oganisation as important as douglas macmillan could employ an individual without the cappacity to be truthfull or to be honest in her documentation.

Thankfully this individual has now moved on to a new employer and hopefully will never be working with Vulnerable Adults or carers again

Steve
