I feel bad not been able to tell you good supporters to us much about whats going on.
Grandad is not well again he has shingles and has been confined to his room at the care home and apparently we cannot visit due to it being contagious, When I advised the home that I had already had chicken pox and should be ok to see him was informed I can still catch it ? any advise welcome as I thought my statement applied.
A few things Staffordshire County Council on the cover letter state that I was right in Raising my complaint and this letter also carries an apology in part for sum of the issues.
The document also carries an Action Plan where they will contact the family and provide further insight into there reasons and actions.
They have however attempted to Soil the family with untruths and false statements, It just goes to show always keep correspondence and any relevant paperwork.
Like I said before folks all the evidence is now in the hands of Solicitors and we are now looking at A No win No fee claim this however is going to carry some risk to the family but we don't care.
Any monies that are awarded will be given to A charity, We just wish to establish that this department is not fit for purpose.
I have directly approached a Private care company giving them a chance to either confirm or deny statements that they have made and to inquire as to there complaints procedure.
No Returned Call.
I have directly Contacted A Police Officer the same again giving them a chance to either confirm or deny statements that they have stated, yet again no reply.
The family and solicitor feel with the weight of evidence that we have shows A very strong case against the County Council.
The family have responded to Staffordshire County Council that we do not accept the apology.
My mother was informed that Grandads new social worker will go and see grandad then contact my mum to discuss his care with us.
New social worker has seen grandad over a week ago and guess what no contact here we go again.
This new social worker has been briefed by the previous social worker who made threats towards myself great idea no prefixed opinions then.
Any way folkes you have all got your own minds and I am not here to sway your opinion in either direction.
Things need to change we need to protect our vulnerable adults and children.
In these times of mass cuts we need departments to hold accurate information and to Act where wrongs are done not creating false information.
