Hi Folkes
Its been a couple of busy days for me I have been finishing of some repair works at my Mums.
Her living space is now so much more pleasant new fireplace new fire wallpaper paint etc.
I find it hard to concentrate on tasks and to carry out most tasks but I have managed with time to do what i think is a good job.
My medical problems over the last couple of years have made it difficult to carry out most tasks to the point of neglecting myself and not wanting to leave the safety of my own home.
I used to be very active and not scared of anything but hopefully I will get better I just take each day as it comes.
Anyway the smile on my mums face at the whole makeover is worth all the gold in the world.
As for other news, Took granddad out yesterday for a haircut yesterday afternoon, When i got to the home he was playing basket ball from his chair and was very with it as usual.
He said to me that it must be 11 am it was actually 2 in the afternoon and I was running late due to the meeting with the police, So much to Staffordshire County Council and he has no capacity as I told him about his haircut 4 days earlier, Sometimes i wonder is he just a very tired man.
When we got to the barbers I had to laugh quietly as he consistently said to the barber " You know I am 93".
I can not hold the old fella back he is like whippet with a zimmer frame he can get out of a car sometimes faster than i can get to him lol.
He even sugested yesterday that if I wanted he would not mind a drive.
For you social workers out there I promise I will not let him drive a car just in case you are daft enough to accuse me of it as well.
Any how back to yesterdays meeting with the Police.
At 10:30 on the nail the gentleman arrived showed me his ID and introduced himself.
We talked and we both exchanged views a quick overview of our meeting.
The police officer that quite rightly so gave information to Mrs Andrea Trubshaw with regard to safeguarding of vulnerable adults. Does not have to write a statement with regard to what he exactly stated to give the social worker the impression that I was a thief.
With the above stated up to todays date the officer has refused to write a statement. and apparently does not have to.
So this where I am at Andrea Trubshaw holds the belief that I am a thief.
I do not know what the personal opinion of the officer is.
But I do know that the social worker says she is acting on an insistence from the police officer.
The Police officer has stated to me whilst with a witness that at no time did he state to Andrea Trubshaw that I was a physical threat or to remove a financial appointeship.
Where does this leave me. The Officer has declined to make a written statement.
and will be asked again for the purpose of openness and transparency if he will make a statement,But i can only assume that the reply will be "it was so long ago I would not be able to recollect accurate statements made"
I think myself that the data officer from Staffordshire Police is very procedure driven and is probably very good at his job.
I have informed him that my complaint is not about money it is about transparency and openness / truth and he has informed me he will be following my second attempt at obtaining information under a subject access request that i will submit this week for the correspondence between these two people.
Second time lucky ?
Maybe the police computers will still be to unstable to print out any emails.
