Hi Bloggers
Just thought I would bring you all up to speed on how things are.
Grandad is doing ok however the doctors had not received the xrays back on friday so will chase up tommorow.
Things are quiet and it has only been under a week since I went through all the issues that we have been through and the treatment afforded to my grandad.
There is nothing more that I could possibly do to highlight the appalling way that both myself and grandfather have endured persistent ineptitude.
I hope you are all looking at my blog's and are forming your own opinions of my actions and the actions of those that should have been there to protect.
I would like you the reader to review and ask questions as some have already done there will always be an answer.
I have many times in my own mind reviewed what I witnessed and how I was treated and even now cannot understand the ferocity of the attack against myself and the threats and defamation.
There was in my opinion absolutely no need for this conduct.
It must be stated that social workers should look at the family dynamic, act and report any suspicion of abuse or neglect this is what is expected of a social worker.
However I can still not understand how removing items from an elderly persons home that they could injure themselves on and helping an elderly person to get there point across could ever form the basis of a VA.
Or improving an elderly persons home with appropriate handrails and wet room could be perceived as a Risk worthy of a Vulnerable Adult Investigation.
I have formed my own opinion that the current use of the Vulnerable Adult Investigation procedures is being abused by those that should be trained and hold responsibility for accurately recording the home events surrounding our most vulnerable adults.
It is all down to the NHS Trust to reevaluate and see what has been covered up in this case and be accountable for the failings of its employees.
I hope and pray that common sense will prevail and that my trust can be restored with those accountable being held to account for there failings and lies.
Will keep you all updated on progress
Steve
