Hi folks.
It has been an interesting week with lots going on.
I arrived home one evening this week to find as we probably all do, many begging letters through the door from various different parties from Ukip to Tory ,Labor etc.
Is it just me or do these people only want constituents when it comes to vote time lol.
When I looked through the detritus of various leaflets I came across one from my local Labor MP and Candidate for Newcastle Under Lyme here in Staffordshire.
To my surprise they had called around during the day canvasing for votes.
I felt cheated that after my many many attempts to gain some practical support from this local party and many ignored emails to my local Councilor for Audley & Chesterton that now they would like my vote.
I accepted the fact that I would probably never get the chance to discuss my feelings directly with the party as even Andy Burnham MP had ignored any contact via email.
Imagine my surprise this evening when my local Labor party contacted me via my grandads telephone number to ask if we had managed to get to vote.
I explained the position as to why I had already placed my vote and for the first time in my life had placed a vote with a random unknown for the purpose of protest.
So for you the reader I think by now you have gathered that I was a labor voter through and through.
Not any more and neither will I vote for any other party as they are all only intent on filling there own pockets at the expense of the rest of society.
My own experience of our MPs is that they will not actively get involved when situations are to difficult and that our local Councilors are even less bothered.
These people all sat idle whilst Staffordshire County Council Lied and failed to provide adequate support over these past years.
These people failed to help me expose a serious financial risk which was not just affecting my grandfather but also affecting many Vulnerable Adults in Social Care support.
The simple question what use are or were they to myself and grandad, The answer none what so ever.
The gentleman on the phone was very apologetic and says he will pass my views on however I politely advised that I am way past being in need of the help that the labor party could and should have provided.
My grandad would have been appalled at what these people have become.
