It has been a few days since my last update.
Tommorow I will be attending the Stoke on Trent Partnerships Independent investigations review pannel again so I will update you on what happens by wednesday night latest.
We are reviewing 2 cases and outcomes again the first case is regarding a failure to diagnose a fractured bone after X Ray and the second is regarding a social work issue and family interaction.
The last few days I have not been feeling so good and I will appologise for sometimes being negative.
On saturday night just gone I received a batch of automated emails from staffordshire county councils complaints department.
These 10 automated replies advised me that e-mails that I had sent in 2012 had not been read and had been deleted.
Needless to say I checked at my end what all the emails were and was horrified that these were important emails in which my family were trying to get my grandads social workers attention regarding the abuse and neglect that he was suffering.
Further e-mails included requests for explanation of why my grandad was not receiving his personal allowance at the home and issues surrounding his safety and care including direct actions of social care staff.
These were e-mails that clearly showed that Staffordshire County Council were aware that my grandad was at risk of neglect and that they were being ignorant to the family.
I do not know what hurts more either the fact that these e-mails were apparently never read even though I hold documented evidence that replies were made.
This shows that they had little to no concern regarding his welfare.
Or that I thought that there may have been some small piece of decency left in this county council to be honest and upfront.
I am left with no other oppinion that whilst the LGO are asking questions evidence is being destroyed.
I am completely astonished as to how low these people will go to protect social workers failings.
After lots of archive searching all the disposed emails have been gathered and forwarded to the LGO
Anyway tomorrow is a new day and as usual i will have to get over this latest revelation.
I am looking forward to being more positive soon.
