Well the LGO interim decision arrived via email this last week.
It was good to see that the LGO could see that many issues had been raised and that there was much fault by the County Council and its conduct as also Certain Social Workers in the case, the suggested remedy at present is financial redress.
It became obvious from reading the pre decision from the LGO that the County Councils attempt to avoid the transparency of how the complaint was handled initially, had provided some lack of exposure directly to them from the LGO.
The attempt was to hide behind the LGOs previous findings that the County Council had carried out all the investigation in a full professional manner and had done nothing wrong.
The subsequent review by the Stoke on Trent Partnership made is very clear that there had indeed been many failures by the county council and certain social workers.
In this most recent case by the LGO into staffordshire county council all parties were able to send information regarding the complaint to the LGO.
Staffordshire County Council provided the LGO yet again with the defamatory and inaccurate social care file of my grandfather,Containing all the fictitious information which had been the Subject of a review by the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership.
There was also a recommendation from the Information Commissioners office that the social record that had been reviewed by myself and proved without any doubt as false should be amended and noted, this was stated as being carried out by the Trust.
I genuinely believed that the Trust had complied in this matter in regard of setting the record straight.
So only two questions can be asked either the trust have not held good to the promise or have Staffordshire County Council decided to again attempted to persuade the LGO that I am a thief, which has been proven beyond any doubt as fiction.
Or that I am an Abuser which sadly for the County Council I am not.
and finnaly that I am guilty of Neglect which as well has been proven without any doubt is created fiction by Staffordshire County Council.
I sometimes wonder is Staffordshire County Council are living in Wonderland whilst targeting innocent carers and there clients, they are failing to provide the basic levels of Safeguarding by not following procedure correctly.
My views regarding the none amended social care file have been made clear to the LGO in my initial response to the LGOs findings.
I have further expressed my concern for the LGOs decision not to overturn there previous decision that I feel protects the County Council from Transparency and Accountability so that a Judicial Review of that decision is not required.
As well as some of the good news in the LGO reply this week it has also provided me with my late grandads social care file in full.
Sadly this has allowed me to become fully aware to what was being written by Social Workers involved in my Grandfathers care.
Before I make my views on the full care file I need to state the obvious, This record needs to contain actual situations surrounding care and even gut feelings or even any concern that the client could be at risk.
I hold no problem with this as the proffesion of social worker is damned if you do damned if you dont.
My concern is that in my grandads care file there is many many reports of situations which never happened and were created or seriously embellished.
Obvisiouly after these many years certain issues can only be seen as my word against that of a social worker.
However statements such as family stated Mr Bourne senior was "wipeing his ar*e with a face cloth" do not sit well with me.
Another great write up of many "Mr Bournes Wing back chair has been removed and replaced with a low back none suporting chair". Priceless.
The Reality was that Mr Bournes chair, which for fact was not a wing back was still there, when he wished to have a lie down during the day he found his existing sofa to low to the floor, because social care could not provide a riser for it.
A discussion had taken place between me and my grandfather, and I purchased him a new sofa out of my money, before anyone assumes otherwise, Which he found to be both higher and more comfortable.
When it comes to what some Some Social worker write I could go on forever and citing evidence to the contrary.
When thinking about a specific incident where the same social worker was transporting my late grandfather to a day center, Within a 10 minute window the social worker had asked my grandad the following questions.
Who is solicitor was ?
Had he made a Will and did she wish her to help him make changes to it ?
Anyone who has experience of the elderly and dementure can understand my concern as to how difficult and distressing this could have been to him within this short period of time.
My grandad saw far to many different social workers with different faces and he struggled to get to gripps with this all the time, as soon as he just got to know one, they went or were changed.
My personal view of the Social Care File is that certain social work professionals cared little for him as a person and were more intent on consistently pushing him for anything that just justify possible abuse,neglect,harm.
These individuals were turning everyday family life sensible actions into embellished situations of abuse
Looking back it was sadly not me the Abuser or me being neglectfull and causing harm.
It was certain Social Work Professionals who either with or without intent were confusing a frail elderly man.
It is only fair that those individuals should be held to account where evidence exists to prove the professional incompetence.
