It has been another long day and as you can see I am still awake lol.
Lots of things on my mind tonight and it is looking very likely that there will be little sleep.
I have finally gained a full copy of my late grandads file which shows communications within the social care system.
It has fully confirmed to me the point at which the problem started and the subsequent actions carried out by the social care staff involved.
A concern was raised apparently by a Lead District Nurse who based on a gut feeling thought that there was issues with his care provision at home.
This individual went on to make many false and defamatory remarks to the extended point of stating that I was in a relationship with another man lol as if this was a risk.
Chinese whispers is a child's game and should stay as just that.
I have no recollection of this individual or his apparent visits to the home
At the same time that this was going on there had been a personality clash where a Social Worker had talked down to me when I was Begging for respite.
These two individuals sowed a seed of mistrust that many further Social Workers were intent to try by any means to prove.
I appreciate that Social Workers have a duty to protect however it has become fully apparent from the social care file that my late grandads social workers were persistently harassing my grandfather as to his personal views regarding myself and 2nd carer.
This questioning even went as far as asking direct questions about his will.
It was nice to see my grandads own views reflected in the care file however this appeared to be getting more annoying to the social work staff as they persistently tried to find fault in every aspect of the care I was providing.
Albeit my late grandads remarks around him being very happy with his care and his food at home this still did not stop these vermin from making many twisted underhand remarks based on random gut feelings.
Someone made a comment some time a go asking if I thought this treatment from social care was because two men were caring for an elderly man and at the time I dismissed this as daft,I am not so sure now.
It is becoming fully obvious that my calls for help and individuals attitudes were the seed of what was to come.
I wanted to believe that there was some good in Adult Social care in Staffordshire but after my findings today there is no hope for this profession and its knee jerk attitudes when it comes to Safeguarding.
My late grandad lost his wish to be in his own home with his family surrounded by his neighbours and friends due to stupid incompetence and ignorant individuals.
He did not require a care home due to his needs, it suited the county council to place him there based on lies
I will never forgive the damage caused by the Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust or Staffordshire County Council for taking away his dignity and liberty, neglecting his safety and the final insult being reckless with his finances.
Part of the Local Government Ombudsman's notes arrived today and the interim decision will arrive tomorrow.
I hope to god that some form of justice is forthcoming my grandad deserved accountability and so do the elderly in Staffordshire.
I like to think that in life we learn and move forward, however this can never happen until the perpetrators of this admit the failings and the extent of what they need to learn.
