Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust & The Public Health Ombudsman

Hi Folkes

Christmas is nearly upon us and I have not updated you recently.

The LGOs decision which will be published on the 11th December 2014 regarding the actions of Staffordshire County Council which unfortunately protects them from exposure in regards to Adult Safeguarding failings.

The reader would have thought that all was getting resolved.

Sorry to say this is anything but resolved, It transpires that the Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust and its CEO Mr Stuart Poynor are just as evasive when it comes to Transparency.

Despite the Trust finding individual Social Workers at fault there has been no feedback on any disciplinary action if any taken against the individuals.

Despite verbally confirming the Failure to provide Social Care and the Failure to record notes in relation to A Vulnerable Adult Investigation.

The Trust appear to now be unwilling to put down on paper the findings of A review by its head of Social Care Mr A Errington.

The Trust further are persistently refusing to acknowledge a complaint regarding this none provision of the recorded findings and it now persistent ignorance when it comes to communication.

A Complaint has been today filed with the Public Health Service Ombudsman with regard to this conduct.

I genuinely thought I could Trust this local Trust to be accountable and Transparent in its dealings with myself directly, Sadly I have learnt the only way is to persist and not be drip fed lip service.

 Steve
