Just thinking today about what organisations say and what they actualy do.
Here is a list of values that the local Nhs Trust.
As well as these Values the Trust also Have an Ambasador for Cultural Change
I can not comment on the trust putting Quality first as I have not used the service since my grandad died, and it may have improved.
However the last 3 years of his life up to the point of death were anything but Quality Focused or Responsive.
It is only fair to say that over the last year they may have improved.
In relation to Honest, Transparent and Accountable The trust including its CEO Mr Stuart Poynor was at first looking as if it was working with me, However on hindsight this was nothing more than lip service.
It appears that whilst the bulk blame could be placed on the County Council the trust were more than happy to assist.
The Trust did push for a Financial Audit which showed iregularities in how the elderly peoples funds were being appropiated and accounted for by Staffordshire County Council and the Trusts own employees.
The Trust reviewed the findings of a So called Independent Investigator and found that many of the more serious failings by Staffordshire County had either been ignored or shoved under the carpet.
It was further highlighted that the County Council and the trust had utilised fraudulently created care notes made by either themselfs or a provider of services to them as a basis to discredit the direct family.
The Trust has been asked multiple times to provide the findings of its further enquiries in writing, Unfortunatly it appears that they are unwilling to be anything but efficient,transparent,or accountable.
I think the Trusts values are nothing more than PR Spin as also its ambasador for Culture Change role.
I can assure the reader that I am not heckling this trust or its CEO this is just a call for people to do what they say
The General Public are not stupid and will not tollerate ignorance or cover up.
