A Question of Integrity & Decency

A Belated Happy New Year To You All.

Well folks this is the first blog of 2015 and it has been a little bit delayed due to a broken laptop.

Apparently the keyboard was worn out.

Many thanks for all the emails and those of you who have been looking for new updates.

I would like to say that matters were progressing however as usual the Stoke on Trent Partnerships Complaint Procedure from the complainants side is next to useless.

I have come to the only conclusion, that when it come to members of the public and genuine complaints, all public bodies hold the attitude that Delay & Ignore are the key to Complaints Management.

This is simply Unacceptable.

So how well have matters progressed ?

As the reader will know I attempted to raise a complaint regarding communication and the failure to provide a full acknowledgement of failings by social care in writing which had been verbally acknowledged by the Stoke on Trent Partnership.

The trust I assume by accident completely ignored and failed to acknowledge my complaint for nearly 2 months and I unfortunately had to make multiple calls to the Public Health Service Ombudsman.

So after much delay the Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust say that they have acknowledged the new complaint.

So now time for some transparency lol

I would like the Trust to put down in writing why they Failed to provide social care support for myself and late Granddad.

Why the social worker charged with his Safeguarding and Care failed to carry out a vulnerable adult investigation to any professional standard.

Why the social care system allowed monies belonging to my grandfather to go missing without any safeguard in place.

Why the social care system either created fraudulent documents or allowed them to be be created by a care agency

The only question left for decency is why many individuals have been allowed to continue to practise with no visibility of any disciplinary.

My direct question today to the Mr Stuart Poynor at the Stoke on Trent partnership and Any Board member of Staffordshire County Council who can be bothered.

Where is the so called Transparency, Accountability or Cultural Change in this.

I will continue to go around and around for as long as it takes to prove without any doubt that the only culture change required in the NHS or any Public body is that of board level management.

I owe this to my late grandad and the public of the local area.

Steve
