Hey folks
Just to keep you all updated the LGO have received no reply from Staffordshire County Council.
They have yet again been provided with extra time by the Local Government Ombudsman.
Ignorance and Delay tactics appear to be the norm and I can only assume that this council feel that they can show the same attitude towards the LGO as was provided to my solicitor.
The sheer way in which the county council act when in communication with any other body or even the public wastes money at all points.
Incompetent Staff ignoring solicitors letters.
Ignoring genuine complaints regarding failings and Adult Safeguarding.
Failing to follow the complaint regulations laid down by central government.
Having a complaints management teem that persist in fighting complaints where they are clearly at fault.
Playing delay tactics wasting legal aid funding to avoid justice or accountability.
Playing delay tactics with the Local Government Ombudsman.
On the positive side the LGO see failure to respond within good time as poor practice.
The LGO have further made it clear that the questions they have asked will be answered and if these are not provided then they can enforce action as they hold similar power to the high court and can subpoena senior staff at the county council if required.
So I must wait yet again untill the county council can be bothered to respond lol
