Just a short 1 lol
Those who regularly read my posts will know that I am not good at short Blogs.
On Monday morning this week after a prolonged bout of illness being suffered by a friend it became apparent that his illness and pain was increasing.
A call was made to the new NHS service who dispatched a paramedic to my home to check my friend over.
The paramedic was through however the outcome was that he did not need to go to hospital so the paramedic contacted the doctors surgery and arranged an emergency appointment for around 12:00 Lunchtime.
At the doctors surgery after a wait of 1 and a half hours the decision was made by the GP that my friend should attend Accident & Emergency with emediate effect with a letter from the GP.
We arrived at A&E about 13:00 and unfortunately it was very busy and the wait was very long.
I will not get started on the car park costs lol.
After booking my friend in we went to sit down amongst the rest of the waiting people on the last 2 chairs available.
A conversation started between myself and a husband and wife sitting next to my seat regarding the car parking and how long they had been waiting.
It transpired that the Gentleman I was talking to was no other than Mr Nigel Ratcliffe Head of the Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust.
We talked at length regarding The help that Mr Stuart Poynor had provided and how communication had now broken down from the trust after A simple request for A written report on the trusts findings.
I expressed my feelings regarding my concerns that either Staffordshire County Council or The Trusts board were blocking the gathering of the written facts regarding both my late grandfathers care and the subsequent failure of a Vulnerable Adult Investigation.
I further discussed the fact that I was still on record by both the County Council & the Trust that I am apparently A Thief,Abuser, and guilty of neglect.
Despite the recent findings and outcomes, the record in which the County Council & the Trust base these conclusions still remain based on fraudulent documents created either by the trust themselves or archangel Care Limited.
Despite various employees of the Trust Stating these findings of abuse,theft etc were made in relation to the care notes, to date I have not been privy to them or the findings of the Trust.
We further discussed the apparent disappearance of Mr Poynor from Twitter and that I held concern that this may have been forced upon him by either the Trust or the CC.
Hopefully he will return to Twitter soon.
Culture needs to change, It will take much more effort but it needs to happen.
On the whole Mr Ratcliffe appeared very welcome of our communication and I can only hope that he passes my concerns onto Mr Poynor regarding this sudden failure in communication.
So before there are any critics Mr Ratcliffe did not appear at any time to receive any preferential treatment from the hospital and had himself waited many hours.
Luckily the twist of fate that placed us together at that point, had not been the outcome of any serious injury either for my friend or Mr Ratcliffe.
All this communication happened in a busy waiting area and it was like two old friends just chatting.
I sometimes wonder if the old fella was looking down and arranged that meeting.
