Hi Folks
Well it is the eve of 12 months since Grandad passed away.
He is still missed and my thoughts this evening are of his last few hours,he was in hospital and comfortable.
He did not suffer and finally passed away at 5 am in the morning of the 7th November 2013.
I still remember the Poppy that I bought him and remember fondly his recollections of the D-day Landings.
There are some extracts of his exploits on the blog here.
I feel low this evening that he could not be in his own home as he had wished but hold comfort that he is out of pain and with my gran.
There is not much more I can say apart from hold your loved ones close and remember those you have lost.
