Hi Folks
It has been a week or so since I last updated you all.
I have decided to take the more relaxed approach to all this mess, As you may remember I was trying to get a copy of the findings of Mr Stuart Poynor and the lead social worker at the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership Trust.
This document is a written account of the failings of both the County Council and The Trusts Social Workers the document goes further to show the failure to safeguard or provide service.
I made a request to Mr Poynor directly however this was ignored.
After many further attempts I raised a complaint with the Trust over 4 weeks ago and further spoke directly with Mr Nigel Radcliffe 3 weeks ago.
This is today's letter lol and my reply.
Hi
Mr Bourne,
I
hope you are well.
Stuart
has mentioned to me that you had a discussion with him over
Twitter that the Trust had not responded to a complaint. I
have checked with our Complaints Department and we don’t
seem to have received a complaint from you. Could I please
ask you to forward the complaint to myself and I will ensure
this is looked at.
Hi Nicola
This is completely unacceptable, I spoke with the trust over 4 weeks ago and the man stated that he would be responsible directly to Stuart the following week.
I held concern that Stuart had stopped communicating with myself, after the many requests for a copy of Mr Andrew Erringtons findings.
It is fully apparent that despite the Mr Poynors acknowledgement of the Social Care failings and the findings in relation to how myself and family were treated, the trust are unwilling to show this on paper.
My complaint is to be treated as a new complaint against the trust as advised in my telephone call.
This was confirmed as a fully received complaint by your trust over 4 weeks ago.
I require a response as to why Mr Stuart Poynor failed to respond to my many requests for a copy of Mr Andrew Erringtons findings.
It is very sad that I have been placed in this position and I thought the Trust were more professional in how they wish to engage with the public.
This matter has been brought to the attention of the public health service ombudsman.
